The overuse of fungicides today is very dangerous for our ecosystem and even our own health. It has been recently found that just like the overuse of antibiotics is bad for our bodies by creating strongly resistant viruses, fungicides can create strongly resistant fungi. This is very dangerous to our health because some of the fungi that can be cultivated through this process are lethal. Researchers who first discovered this, were ridiculed and mocked because people thought that they were seeking attention, but through further research it has been proven that their warning were true. A good many of these fungicide resistant fungi have been found in China. Altogether there has been a great increase of these fungi because of fungicide misuse. Fungicides should be heavily limited by the government for public safety and environmental preservation, or there should at least antifungal drugs used instead. It would be better for a healthy, future earth.
